Kayla Simon recently graduated with a B.A. in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from the University of Connecticut in the class of 2023. Her work has previously been published in Thought Catalog, New Square, Grub Street, Long River Review, Blue Marble Review, and Red Cedar Review, and she is currently working on her first poetry manuscript.
